Industrial – Abhay has carried out fire safety audits for petrochemical/ chemical units in India. These were based on a hazard identification & assessment, verification of mitigation measures and their adequacy, as well as operational testing of different fire safety systems provided to ensure their operational efficiency & efficacy. Unlike a check list audit, his vast experience, operational knowledge and core competence in fire safety allows clients to have a realistic assessment of their fire safety status and preparedness.
Buildings – He has also carried out Building Fire Safety audits involving various occupancies (Residential, Business, Mall, Hospital buildings) in the Middle East, where he assessed the fire hazards and adequacy of life safety and fire protection measures/systems in line with prevalent codes/practices. Testing of different life safety and fire protection systems installed, identification of shortcomings, and providing solutions was part of the activity involved.
