Except for the developed world (which is actually a small minority in this world populationwise), the fire problem remains largely concealed and neglected, and does not get due importance. In most developing and underdeveloped countries where resources are scarce and problems galore, it’s an issue that government and society hesitate to accept and deliberate upon. Giving figures related to fire fatalities and losses is not of significance as accuracy of data itself cannot be vouched for. And yet the fact remains that fire affects every region and every sector; from forests to industries, villages to cities, hospitals to hotels, cinema houses to government secretariats, and residential complexes to museums.
And with cities vying for the ‘smart’ status today, it becomes all the more important that this issue be given due importance – after all, what’s a smart city if it’s not safe? The ‘smart’ tag becomes truly relevant only when each and every member of society becomes aware of the fire hazards that we face, and contributes effectively to fire prevention. It is also our responsibility to ensure that our firefighters, who put their lives at risk day in and day out for us, are provided with the best possible equipment, knowledge and training to carry out their jobs safely.
That’s where we make our contribution to this cause – by providing services that bridge the present gap in fire safety knowledge, training and implementation. We understand fire safety in depth….so if you truly value fire safety, come to us with your problems.
